Artificial Intelligence in Gaming
Adding the human dimension to games
In the near future many of us will have avatars and be a part of a virtual experience embedded with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) techniques.
This event therefore considered the role that artificial intelligence is playing with respect to how intelligent machine-driven avatars will be in the future.
The event also looked at how AI is currently being used in educational and health settings, as well as in leading edge research projects, such as the Echoes project.
Leading specialist speakers from industry and academia explored examples of artifical intelligence being used today and will explore possible applications for the technologies in the future, igniting active debate and discussion.
